You want what now?

While Dakkur could understand why someone would want to make sure they were extra safe now that there were the undead all about, this is probably one of the strangest of requests and it was at such a bad time. "So you want a panic bunker. You know this is beyond my expertise right?" Dakkur gadgets, as far as most of the people in Zaichaer knew and then he could reinforce and alter things to become more suited to his purposes, a skill only known to a select few. A panic bunker was something none of those would be able to make as "You need someone who can do heavy construction and stuff like that. Not me. And I don't think there would be anyone which would be willing to help you with that because there are more important things to be constructed throughout the city they should be working on instead." As someone not completely motivated by profit, Dakkur could appreciate that sometimes work is dictated by needs and while he had no love for Zaichaer, he was still living in it and it was still full of innocent people who could use the help of skilled builders. The other however, would not be dissuaded even as Dakkur explained "at most I could try making a vault mechanism. A door maybe. A way to deliver things in and out. That still isn't your panic bunker. If you want my help why not get something more feasible? I could always fashion something like a pulley system so if you just break down your stairs the monsters would probably never reach you unless they grow claws or wings or something." Wait, could they do that? Well the shadows could not do that either so they should still be safe.
So it would be better to not give them any ideas. The same way Dakkur was regretting giving the man idea because now, he wanted Dakkur to make the fixtures for his bunker. "Don't you think you should secure someone to build it for you first...? I mean I can make it. I just can't make it correctly without the specifications and I think its pretty stupid if the builder has to work around my specifications. Do you und-" No, of course he did not. But he was convinced he could secure the services of a builder that Dakkur could have a back and forth with so he could get to working on his commissioned gadgets promptly. Being quite tired, Dakkur simply accepted. Money was money. Better yet if this paranoid person ended up with actual wealth and decided to hide it in his bunker, maybe one day in knowing how it was made Dakkur could plan a heist. For academic purposes of course.
It did not take long for Dakkur to meet the builder. No time at all and the meeting in a sense started off on a good note- joint misgivings of their employer. At least they were on the same page as "so he got you too? Don't have any other projects to take care of? Yeah me neither so I'l just killing time. I don't think it would work actually but if its what he wants" made for a good starting point for them to get to the business at hand. A list of things had to be prepared on that day because "this is the first time I'm being involved with building something, I'll need to know how you builders measure and record things" and after he got all the industry standards, Dakkur went on to ask questions of his own like "How wide? Big? What direction does it go" and, "can you make the door too?"
