As Hekatos has been overseeing this character's development I figured I'd direct this at him.

Due to my habit of updating my characters skills in one big burst I am requesting several approvals.

Rivin spends most of his free time, and a lot of his work time running around on the rooftops of Kalzasi, corner perching in people's homes to observe them, crouching on window ledges to spy, and trying to figure out new ways to slip out of any and all bonds. I have been actively using this skill with him from his creation through the years I have played him and feel it makes sense that this would be his first mastery.

Rivin has been taking lessons from a Master of Perception for more than a year, as well as using it as the primary skill in his profession. He was trained to be particularly perceptive as a child to keep himself safe and from when he was a young teenager to use the skill as part of medical research and data collection so he is well versed in several different kinds of perception.

Rivin was forced to conceal and deceive as a young child to survive but since he escaped slavery he has had to learn many new ways of utilizing this skill to remain free. Over the years since he arrived in Kalzasi he has learned to lie easily, and, since beginning his work as a spy he has honed his ability beyond simply speaking deception into using his whole being to project new 'truths'. With the aid of his apprentice master Aurin Kavafis' Masquerade he has even learned to take on whole new personas such that, together, they can fool even Semblers.
