Semblance Quirks:
Theme: Danger Sense – Zora took on semblance magic out of extreme paranoia that she would be killed if authorities ever found out about the happenstance mark upon her hand. Her paranoia has developed her magical sixth sense into a reliable means of detecting danger.
Apprentice: Are you a cop? – As Zora relies on her generalization of the professions of others in order to better protect herself, her Semblance rune has responded by making it much easier for her to glean the information surrounding the self-proclaimed professions of others. As such, she can receive this information automatically with negligible aether expenditure unless the individual is of equal or greater magical ability for hiding that specific information. If it is hidden in such a manner, she must use active abilities to try and secure that information.
Journeyman: Not with a ten-foot pole – Growing upon her paranoia and self-preservation, Zora's Semblance rune has begun to signal her at seemingly negative effects in magical items she comes across. This signal comes in subtle ways, such as hair standing on Zora's neck, the desire to suddenly withdraw her hand, pulse beginning to rise without an obvious reason, etc. However, it should be noted that the term negative is not universal, and is based upon Zora's own biased view of the world, and as such is limited to "May cause me harm." Additionally, this does not parse effects or multiple effects, so that even if "good" effects by Zora's viewpoint exist in the item, she will only feel the "bad vibes" through this quirk. Finally, if the item was crafted by a magical level upon Zora's own Semblance level at the time of introduction, then no bad vibes can be felt.
Expert: Aura Double – Simply knowing someone is after her is only part of Zora's worries. The tricky bit is escaping capture once they're on her tail. To this end, Zora is able to fabricate a copy of her aura by compressing aether and manipulating the flux to make it move. She could infuse it with aether to send it on a predetermined path or even control it manually at a distance. This is an expensive ability to use in terms of aether, as it involves making such a detailed copy of her entire aura.
Master: I’m Onto You - If there exists someone within Zora’s range of Semblance magic usage who intends to act against her, she becomes innately aware of their existence. This manifests as a feeling of unease that grows the closer they get to her. She doesn’t automatically know anything else about them outside of their distance. This ability will not activate if the individual is of equal or greater magical ability for hiding their presence.
Master: Safe at last - In areas that have gone long periods of time (a couple months) without violence, Zora gets a feeling of safety. She gets a similar feeling around people who have not committed acts of violence in that time range. This ability will not activate if the individual is of equal or greater magical ability for hiding their presence.
