Rumours have spread amongst the Solunarian elite that the Luxian Court has sought to quell through mundane and magical manipulation, but too many bore witness to the attempted assassinations of the two Princes Regent of Solunarium: Arkænyn of the Luxium and Arvælyn of the Umbrium. The long absent Solar Sovereign appeared at the Mascerata Regia Ball, alongside two apparent replicas of Arkænyn the Platinum. Keen eyes noted that their witchmarks were arrayed differently from those of the Prince Regent and keen ears noted their dialects were not tinged with the Aurisian accent of the provisional leader of the Luxium. Few missed their thwarted attacks on the two Princes Regent nor their disappearance from the well warded Palatium Furiarum.
The rumours do not end here. It has been leaked that the Sol’Aværys Conclave of Electors has assembled: An elite cadre of magnati which only gathers in prelude to an accession to decide upon whom will next sit the Sol’Aværys throne. Among those rumoured to be in the running are the Platinum Princes Arkænyn and Octavian, as well as the sunlit Seværys of Astræon and the moonborn Vrædyn Princeps Pontifex. Historically, the crown has always gone to a Platinum Prince when there was one amongst the Unbroken Line who was old enough to rule unaided. Whatever the conclave decides, the fact of its assembling is a clear indication that House Sol’Aværys has renounced Thalya IV Imperatric as Dread Liege of the Luxium: a move which some say was executed at the command of Zalkyriax Rex Draconum, overseer of the Umbrium and Crownwyrm of the Zalkyrian Dynasty.

1 Glade 124: NOVVM REGIVM
Everyl Princeps Prætor stands on the steps of the Palatium Furiarum to declare that Solar Sovereign Thalya IV has been declared unfit to rule and that the Conclave of Electors has gathered to select a head of House Sol’Aværys. He announces that he will personally serve as interim regent, while the decision is rendered. Players may feel free to interact with this declaration at their leisure.[OPEN PROMPT]
10 Glade 124: SVBMISIMVS SCEPTRVM
The glorious Sceptre of Aværys, which was raised above the Atraxian Expanse to offset the fell effects of the global eclipse, is decommissioned in its role as second sun. Although its light is dimmed enough not to negatively impact the ecology of the desert, the Sceptre remains suspended in the sky as a monument to the might of Aværys and the ingenuity of His progeny, who offset a disaster that could have killed thousands in Solunarium as it slew millions abroad. Though the Sceptre no longer provides life-giving light, it has been altered by Arcas and infused with an energy that accelerates the decay of Undead things rendering Atraxia an extremely hostile environment to their number.
Princes Arkænyn and Arvælyn will hold a ceremony on this date in the shadow of Arx Rubrum Petram in the distant desert. Those wishing to attend, may travel by mundane means or portals will be opened for interested parties in the Forum and the Subforum on the morning of the event.

To the West of Atraxia, a congregation of Green Dragons has been observed making camps along the border with the Commonwealth. Both the Luxium and the Umbrium send parties to investigate and potentially respond to this ominous assembly. PCs with fealty to either Crown may inquire about joining the corresponding expedition or subsequent response party.
