[Location] The Royal Palace

In keeping with elven tradition, the palace of House Sol'Eilran remains more modest than public buildings. Their country home is in many ways more impressive—and is linked via permanent gate from the Eilranoikos in the capital. The king might receive guests and do some business from home, but there are government buildings for government affairs, temples for ecclesiastical affairs, and this is the residence of House Sol'Eilran. It is a home.
Granted, it takes up more space than most homes in the city, but it is not unduly large and has many intimate spaces. Guests note the organic lines of the place, as well as strange aspects that seem features of dream logic, which only makes sense for the family entrusted with the Cardinal Rune that allows for walking the paths of the Dreaming. The mirror pool is deceptive; parts of it are traversible by foot, as if walking on water, while others are deep and meant for swimming.
Current residents are the king, Ailuin Sol'Eilran, and his children. He is between spouses. The royal palace, or House of Dreaming, lies within the deme Callo.
Idyllic though it may seem, it is well guarded and well fortified, magically and otherwise. Invited guests are welcomed. Anyone else, politely rebuffed. Those who push are brutally rebuffed.
