Character Registry for Searing/Ash 124
[Quest]- A fully moderated thread that will be directed and overseen by Paragon or Chronicle. A starter for the thread will be provided. Once the allotted amount of players listed have posted to the thread, it will be closed to all other entries. If players see an event listed and would like to make their interest known, please send a PM to one of the city moderators here on the forums (not Discord).
[Prompt] - A written prompt will be provided for interested participants. Any and all who desire to participate in this event, please get with Paragon. A starter for the thread will be provided. A prompt is different from a moderated thread in that the premise of the scenario is provided, players are left to determine the outcome of their own volition. However, a moderator can step in to offer a creative nudge where appropriate.

With the passage of Glade, the soil for farming throughout Kalzasi has been restored fairly quickly; through joint efforts among Earth Elementalists, and the application of resources collected from the Otherwilds of the Midden. Searing arrives with an unusual warmth that the North isn't typically accustomed to, making it comfortable to wear lighter and looser clothing in years, and the city progresses its efforts to prepare for what should be exciting events to come.

Searing 1: A Gentle Heatwave [Open Prompt]
Weather: Sunny with Clear Skies.
Kalzasi experiences Searing in full swing with a blanket of warmth sweeping the mountains, what remaining snow there is is completely melted away, leaving even the peak of Astralar barren with ice. Some locals complain of the 'heatwave' but to any tourists or adventurers from south, this makes Kalzasi feel like a cool and moist place within the world.
Searing 5: The Horde of the Deep [Prompt]
Weather: Muggy with Cloud Cover.
As the season's first rains proceed to soak Kalzasi, the denizens of The Deep return from the depths in swarms. The Sky Guard and Dead Legion continually share joint efforts along with adventurers, mercenaries, and even Circle mages to keep the Shinaegri pushed back.
Searing 13: Lady of the Pale Grove [Open Prompt]
Weather: Sunny with Low Humidity.
The annual holiday in celebration of Naori is celebrated once again, with an exciting parade themed after the Mother of Chaos seen marching throughout the Plaze of Jeweled Arches. The Golden Peacock Theatre puts on a thematic performance entertaining stories of Naori, as well as the cosmic relationship that exists between Her and Father Eikean.
Searing 21: The Sleeping Lord [Prompt]
Weather: Sunny with sparse clouds.
It initially began as a whisper among the Rathari folk, and within days this rumor spread throughout the city proper. The Lord of Frost sleeps for the season, leading some to speculate this is the cause of the unusual warmth felt within Kalzasi. The Great Noble Houses of Kalzasi say little to confirm or deny these rumors.
Searing 38: Word From the Roads [Quest]
Weather: Sunny with Sporadic Clouds.
The Taverns are filled with more rumors of how unsafe travel has become along the roads lately, as caravans continue to go missing along trade routes between the major cities. This news causes merchants to hire other methods of travel for their caravaneers, utilizing airship travel as well as visas for arcane travel through the Slipspace.
Searing 54: Tremors Below the Surface [Open Prompt]
Weather: Light Showers, Partially Sunny
Throughout the base of the mountainside within Kalzasi, and particularly within the confines of the Midden, there comes an unusual rattle throughout the entirety of the city's irrigation system. Those on the surface would only be able to describe it as subtle vibrations beneath the ground, but the Midden folk, however, tell a different story where the very walls and foundations of the Midden felt the underbelly groan and shift beneath it. Nobody seems keen to investigate these noises, however, as the deeper parts of the Midden continue to prove dangerous to explore alone.
Searing 88-90: Daichin Togloom [Prompt]
Weather: Sunny with Cooler Temps.
The next annual holiday honoring the union between the Orkhan and Synnekar that first arrived to establish Kalzasi begins. The Proving Grounds are packed with exciting events that allow the citizens to partake in a combination of things. Horse racing, archery, mounted archery, and even martial competitions occupy the stadium, while stall vendors selling food and merchandise from businesses in the city's Plaza line the outside entrances to the Proving Grounds.
As the season of Searing draws to a close, excitement and hope are bountiful among the citizens. Though some small tensions still remain between the locals and the refugees of Zaichaer, members and affiliates of the Great House of Zatrian endeavor to help them with only minor struggles. With the cultural differences between the Jewel of Karnor and the Brass City, and the recent war that led to Zaichaer's ruin, many of the refugees still refuse to conform to the city's societal structure while others have sought employment among the Guilds of Kalzasi. What's more are the turbulent times lurking on the horizon, threatening the sense of calm that Kalzasi has preserved for the past few seasons.

Ash 1: House Zatrian Reaches Out [Open Prompt]
Weather: Sunny with a Chill.
As Searing concludes the arrival of Ash brings with it cooler weather once again, House Zatrian hosts a banquet with other Great House affiliates for political purposes. Having a rather reserved guest list after the destruction of an Illumite pylon in their district, the Great House opens its doors to the public to not only demonstrate its full recovery from the damages, but to push for better accommodations for the refugees still living within the city proper. Those who fled from Zaichaer after the catastrophic events of Searing 122 had been provided temporary homes throughout the Commons and even Low City, yet, the culture shock has left them hardly able to integrate into the city's societal norms and find work. House Ativan and Zatrian have both sought to better the lives of these refugees, though, still struggle to make headway as many of the former Zaichaeri refuse to forgo their former ways in life.
Ash 9: Antiquities Abound [Open Prompt]
Weather: Light Rainfall.
Members of the Antiquities Society are excitedly abuzz from a collection of new artifacts they've gathered. Some from the Buried Empire of the Warrens, some even The Waterways of the Midden believed to be relics of Kalzasi's earlier days.
Ash 18: Harvest Ash Festival [Open Prompt]
Weather: Sunny with cloud cover.
The Harvest Ash Festival begins as the Great Houses distribute foodstuffs and drinks among their nobility, who in turn distribute them among the citizens so that all may come together in celebration. With the Festival underway vendors throughout the city gather at the Plaza of Jeweled Arches, and performances involving dancers and buskers fill the streets with jovial entertainment. Locals are highly encouraged to participate in sharing and building a sense of community with the refugees, hopeful that the festivities will help ease the remaining tensions felt between Kalzasern and Zaichaeri folk alike.
Ash 25: The Brass Carnival [Open Prompt]
Weather: Clear and cool skies
The plateaus that have been carved and flattened out near the Plaza of Jeweled Arches now hum with a new vibrant energy. With the joint effort of officials from the Circle of Spells, and a few engineers who survived the events of Zaichaer, a new zone has been built into the city to integrate what is now a carnival. Brass machines that visitors can ride, services both magic and medicinal available to the public, along with more food vendors that bring new culinary dishes to the city bring this part of the city to life. When the evening time approaches, fireworks are frequently launched from the carnival, allowing for a magical show for everyone in the city who can see it.
Ash 42: A Thief in the Night [Open Prompt]
Weather: Sporadic Rainfall and Cloud Cover.
Reports from the Antiquities Society spread throughout the nobility and rest of Kalzasi like wildfire, a thief has managed to infiltrate and steal an artifact from the museum. Though details on the thief remain sparse their claim was for only a single artifact, a black key with a gem that had been found within the Waterworks.
Ash 55: Disturbances Down Below [Prompt]
Weather: Light Rainfall.
More rumblings specific to the Midden become prevalent, as Hahseu experiences a sudden overflow throughout the main channels within their part of the city. As light flooding threatens those near the channel, beasts from the Waterworks soon plague the streets of Hahseu, calling the syndicate organizations into action to cull their numbers and regain control. It then becomes clear that somewhere deep within the Midden, the water flow systems are being altered.
Ash 66: Shinaegri Swarms Inbound [Open Prompt]
Weather: Cloudy with colder weather.
The looming clouds signify the approach of Frost as the cold returns to the Jewel of Karnor, yet the Shinaegri of the Deep appear more active than ever, putting a bit more pressure on the factions, Sky Guard, and Dead Legion combined. The Shokaze and The Council are asked to commune with the Eight Great Noble Houses, seeking solutions to employ within the Mistreach Keep as well as the Yawning Chasm, so that the Horde can be continually kept at bay while their numbers are culled.
Ash 78: The Wild Hunt [Open Prompt]
Weather: Dread Mists Category 2
As the second half of The Wild Hunt annual event progresses, the alarms toll high across the mountainside of Kalzasi overall. Ominous clouds brew around the city before long, and all the hunters are urged to return to the city for protection against the coming Mist Storm. An otherworldly and eerie fog then closes in as the Illumite Pylons are activated to ward against it, as a wave of undead creatures march through the mists toward the city and surrounding townships.

Reason for Visiting: Living here
Goal for the Season: Reimersing Rickter into the scene after Searing.
Duration of Stay: Indefinitely but will have window periods of departure off and on.
Commentary Feedback: Am hoping to see and even help players get some stuff going with the events laid out this season. I strongly implore anyone who wants to do an event to reach out to me via discord, as I'll gladly help set up threads to get things rolling. Also, for the duration of Searing, Rickter is only available to visit via Dreamscapes, anybody who wishes to see him physically should also dm me during this time frame.

Reason for Visiting: After two years traveling the world as a free man, he returns to Kalzasi to seek old friends and pursue new goals.
Goal for the Season: Reestablish connections and seek entry into the Dawnmartyr Order. Learn more of the Avialae Bond.
Duration of Stay: No intensions of leaving anytime soon.
