Quest Name: The Conquest of Valynthia

Questers: Dreyfus

Goal To find the lost city of Valynthia, an ancient city lost to the annals of history. Part of a larger plot that has been discussed between me and Rune already.

Stages:

• 1. Find out about the lost city - While surveying the growth of his village, Dreyfus learns about the city of Valynthia from a mysterious old man. He is impressed by the vibrancy and level of growth, feeling nostalgic and reminiscing about a similar place known as Valynthia. He indulges the man and listens to the story about the rise and fall of Valynthia and the tragic end to a city said to be an ancient jewel of innovation and magic.
• 2. Gear up - Intrigued by the mysterious old man's story and at his request to purge the evil that still remains there, Dreyfus prepares himself to face unknown danger.
• 3. Discover the City - The search begins to find the city based on the directions given to him by the mysterious old man, encountering an interesting person along the way.
• 4. Discover the entrance - Together with the stranger he met along the way, they finally come upon the gates of Valharbor but find that the doors are sealed shut and must find another way inside.
• 5. Fight off the guardians - A fierce battle ensues to defeat the remnants of the dark forces tied to Valynthia and come face to face with the truth behind what happened to the people of Valynthia.
• 6. Capture the palace - With the truth revealed behind the dark force that caused the demise of Valynthia Dreyfus and his new companion face the dark being to capture the palace belonging to the ancient king of Valynthia
• 7. finding the corruption that still lingers on the city - With the threat of Valynthia defeated, Dreyfus finds that the corruption of the dark ritual performed within the city still lingers and searches the city for the source of it.
• 8. Researching ways to cleanse the corruption - Identifying the source, Dreyfus must research and learn of ways to mix the magics and knowledge at his disposal to cleanse it, possibly learning or gaining a new magic to achieve this goal{most likely learning Scrivening}
• 9. Cleansing the source - With new knowledge of how to properly cleanse such corruptive residual magic, Dreyfus enacts his plan, the results of which see the city free of the lingering darkness.
