Lutz's Quirks: Apprentice Transposition

He instinctually knows where things are within a room so long as its not something carefully - or magically - hidden. If he needs a door open, he'll naturally reach for where the key is stored. If he's rummaging through a box of things, when he's finished, everything will be in the spot it was when he started. Once he starts actively thinking about things, however, he finds it's a little more difficult pinpoint anything and requires more focus than it probably should to do so.
For example, if he's actively searching for a key, his first thought might not be to look for it in the little wooden bowl by the door but to start from the top of the room and work his way down, or left to right, or from where he's standing and working outward in waves.
The quirk itself is a reflection of his faster paced casting, which requires him to be aware of his surroundings on a more reflexive and instinctual level, where as taking the time to really focus on specific points, objects, or things is less important.
He can still focus, it's just a little harder. He can still be wrong about subconsciously being aware of where things are, but he's generally better at guesswork and not as great at investigations.
