The Velvet Cabaret
Situated in an upscale lot that is well maintained by the gardeners of House Senue, there is quite the large three-stories high building painted a rich red hue, found nestled between the The Golden Peacock Theater and The Jade Crane Bathhouse. This exquisite lot is none other than The Velvet Cabaret, where raunchy shows are put on and private parties are hosted throughout the main level. A structure once built for a minor noble house in Kalzasi, one whose line ended rather quickly, this elaborately designed building now houses and caters towards the many vices of the public, offering quite a large palette of services from drinking, to gambling, and even companionship for the right price.
The main level of the building is separated into three parts, with the main hall furnished with the finest of furniture and loungers, with it's own private auditorium built further within, so that dancers and courtesans can perform for the audiences the joint brings. Each room is decorated with colors that align with dark reds and black, with the air often permeated with thick incense to lighten up the mood. As one enters one of the other wings, however, the setting begins to change depending on which part of the building you enter.
The East Wing of the building caters towards more of the general public, possessing separate lounge rooms that are available for rent, each and every one of them often airing out constant veils of smoke. It's within the East Wing that the hookah lounges are often utilized, and quite often things can get very heated and raunchy within, which is why bouncers diligently keep watch to make sure excited patrons don't get too handsy with any dancers in their midst. The West Wing on the other hand is more refined and elaborately decorated, as it caters toward the more private patrons who like to host their own parties and events here. In taking one of the curvaceous stairwells up towards the upper levels, which are found in the main hall, one will find that both the second and third floors are a maze full of rooms.
Rooms which are more often rented, and frequently, to allow patrons a chance to slip away from the festivities; and engage in more carnal affairs if their hearts so desires. The keeper of the Velvet Cabaret works diligently to make sure all her workers, both courtesans and housekeepers alike, are thoroughly taken care of while they're on the premises; therefore those who might cause disturbances or violate any of the rules are swiftly removed from the premises.
