The Draconic Renaissance
Glade, 123 Steel
The Dual Realm of Solunarium has been bisected by the will of the Draconic Zalkyrian Dynasty, as they assert their ancient claim of sovereignty in the kingdom. After proclaiming their intent to rule over half of the realm, Solunarium has had a season to prepare for the transition of power. The Palatium Umbrarum has been claimed as the seat of the Draconic Court of Sol’Zalkyrion and the Subcuria is poised to play host to an Umbrian Senate occupied by those noble families who have sworn fealty to the draconic dynasty over the elven.
With the five Atraxian royal dragons continuing to occupy the Thalamum Draconum, the residences of the Palatium Umbrarum have been taken up by the Zalkyrian Crown Prince Arvælyn, the draco-elven son of the Crownwyrm Zalkyriax, and the prince’s favourite, Finn Farstrider.
As the Draconic Dynasty exerts its influence over the Umbrium, the Luxium remains under the sceptre of its centennial Solar Sovereign, Thalya IV, who has remained aloof in the aftermath of Ash 122’s revelations. Many assume she is licking her fresh wounds and preparing countermeasures, whilst others believe she has been so hobbled by the developments as to have gone reclusive. Whatever the case, Her Divine Radiance has not made a public appearance since the conclusion of her centennial jubilee, relying instead upon her Aurisian-raised, recently-revealed son, Arkænyn the Platinum to serve as the face of the Crown in her absence.
Though much is in flux, there is one thing about which both Crowns clearly agree: Fealty must be paid to one or the other. All Solunarian citizens have been given a clear choice: Pledge themselves to the Elven Dynasty of Sol’Aværys, The Draconic Dynasty of Sol’Zalkyrion or find their citizenship and the rights thereof revoked, to be treated thenceforth as peregrini in their own realm.
IMPORTANT NOTE: All Solunarian PCs (with the exception of Servi who will assume the fealty of their dominus’ house) must declare their fealty in this Character Registry to participate in play. Peregrini, who are considered foreign, non-citizens are not required to make a fealty pledge, but may choose to do so if they wish to seek citizenship from either the Luxian or Umbrian courts.

1 Glade: NOVA REGIMEN
In both the Luxium and the Umbrium, the Dual Crowns recognise the dawn of a new epoch. In the Luxian Senate, as well as its newly formed Umbrian counterpart, the loftiest of Solunarium’s citizens gather to ring in the new year with royal addresses from their respective rulers. After addressing their respective senates, the royals will hold opulent New Year festivals with food, drink and entertainment provided by the imperial coffers. [PROMPT]
17 Glade:OCCVLTVS TERRAS
Solunarian archæologists have begun to delve into a newly discovered ruin that was uncovered in the Sorokyn mines during routine excavation procedures in Frost. The Silver Sentinels, which are still reorganising due to the transition of power that leaves them the primary policing, military and intelligence service for the Umbrium, are taking on private contractors to explore the ruins for sacred relics and other treasures. [PROMPT]
35 Glade: SCEPTRVM INSTABILE
“The Sceptre of Aværys”, which is the name given to the artificial sun hung in the sky by the House of Sol’Aværys to combat the effects of the eclipse, is beginning to falter. Mages of potency throughout the Luxium and the Umbrium have been summoned to lend their ætheric prowess to the effort. Characters with proficiency in disciplines of magic pertinent to this endeavour may volunteer to contribute with the possibility of reaping rewards from a grateful kingdom. [QUEST]
57 Glade: SOLIS ARDORE
As some Solunarians are still delighted by the influx of immigrants invading the realm, a backlash is beginning to burgeon in the form of the Solis Ardore, (or ‘The Searing Sun’ in the Common tongue) a xenophobic, militant extremist group largely composed of humans and demi-elves. The Solis Ardore, which tends to operate in the less heavily policed districts, has been starting to harass obvious peregrini even to the point of violence. Although they haven’t engaged in anything on a large scale, they have been known to brutalise peregrini in the poorer districts and to verbally harass foreigners even in the forum districts.[OPEN PROMPT]
