Being a master Elementalist himself, Palæmon was happily distracted when it came to teaching Æros the Craft. And furthermore, it was a strange (both uncomfortable and fascinating) experience to play passenger in his own body while his cousin figured things out. He himself had been a master of the magic for quite some time now so to watch his own hands wield it so clumsily was…a little novel, but genuinely funny to him. At least, it was funny until Æros caused his physical form strain by overloading his far weaker rune– but, to Æros’ credit, he always allowed Palæmon to intercede and stop him in such cases.
The older Sælyan cousin knew of the other's desire to, as quickly as he could, reach a competency level that would be enough for him to attune to elements beyond the base four. And, given their strange circumstances and Æros’ relative newness to the rune, this prospect was…a daunting task, but Sælyans were nothing if not stubborn creatures. Plus, Palæmon seemed to have lost access to that which he had previously attuned to once Æros had overtaken him for an extended period of time. This vexed him greatly, but that also wasn't Æros’ fault and petty anger would benefit neither of them. And, in his mind, if they were to remedy this, he wanted both of them to be able to attune.
As such, that meant that the two of them better start putting in concentrated effort into pushing Æros’ just barely above novice skills with the rune. And now, home from their rather fascinating new job, the two of them had slunk away and sequestered themselves within the relative solemnity of Palæmon's gardens to work on exactly that. With the moonborn's bias to water, the deceased patrician agreed to work on his sculpting skills utilizing that– the former's Aidolon even appeared more than willing to help.
