Personality

Mimsy is a woman who is unfailingly kind and sincerely works toward showing compassion to everyone she encounters. While she is not naive, she is decidedly optimistic with a keen awareness of the circumstances. She works to bring comfort to the people around her, something most commonly expressed in her cooking, baking and her alchemical endeavors. Despite her readiness to speak at length with people, being a sociable individual, she does not often speak of herself. She gives people the room to speak their minds and offers advice when it is solicited. Overall, she is a woman who enjoys the work that she does and is content to see people benefit from it.

Appearance

Standing at a diminutive 2 ft. and 5 in., Mimsy is average in terms of height for a gnome. She possesses a youthful face that has a smattering of freckles bespeaking years of being in the sunlight. Her skin is suntanned from many days spent outdoors. With bright red hair that seems more akin to a orange cloud about her head, Mimsy is seldom difficult to spot even as she darts between people. Though she tries her best, her curls never seem to cooperate so she does her best to simply make them presentable. Her eyes are a bright green with flecks of copper in them that shine like amber in sunlight. She is slim and can most often be found wearing royal blue coats with silver patterns under which she contents herself with a blouse, trousers and humble boots.

History

To speak with her, Mimsy will tell anyone who asks that she was born in the Hold of Orr’Kharzan. When she matured, she left the Hold and ventured out into the world, traveling first to the silver and gold cities of the Hytori elves where she studied alchemy under an elven master. She then left Sol’Valen and journeyed to the Republic of Cathena where she learned how to navigate the spice trade and implement them both in her alchemy and soon after, her cooking. It was upon learning the wonders of the more refined culinary arts that she found one of the happiest means of expressing herself. She came alive in the kitchen in a way that had been lost to her and since that time, she has devoted herself to mastering her skills and applying them to all manner of culinary comforts. When her business in Cathena had been concluded she traveled to Atinaw, navigating some of their markets and learning some of the cuisines that the culture had to offer before traveling north to the Free Cities.

Mimsy has since settled in Zaichaer where life is not easy for her but she does not altogether seem to mind. She has taken a particular fondness for the Knob and the people in it. With her skills she has endeavored to bring peace and comfort to those who cross her path. Mimsy never turns away a person in need of food, nor does she hesitate to offer assistance to those who might benefit from her skills.
