Current State of the Imperium
The Imperium is in a relatively peaceful state across all of its regions, though peaceful can be difficult to define depending on who you are. The events of the Eclipse are still being felt, but a sense of normalcy has begun to return despite the still prevalent shadow creatures in certain smaller towns and the pervasive winter.
In Tranal a new factory has been established by G.I.M. Co dedicated to the pursuit of medical magitech research. Hospitals in both Tranal and Gelerand are recieving new advanced equipment at the end of Ash, and there are rumors among the Imperial Military that certain augmentations may become available to soldiers in the next year. The Dardouen dutchy has been the most impacted by the continuous winter. Harvests are significantly smaller, leading to significantly fewer exports of certain grains and other crops to surrounding regions. This becomes more noticeable at the end of Ash as all grain based food products grow more expensive in Gelerand, Tranal and especially Alaris. There are growing concerns that food stores in Alaris will begin to run out before the end of Winter, and while the dutchy does have its own means of agriculture it primarily subsists on what animals can be hunted or raised. Production of dried and cured meats increases in Alaris, and throughout Ash the usually active military zones steadily decrease in movement as the region and its people prepare for a harsh winter.
With Ash also comes an increase in the undead activity across all dutchy, especially in Gelerand. Pockets of miasma begin to collect especially in remote regions of Gelerand, and undead begin to appear with more and more frequency, typically non-sentient zombies and shades. In areas with large deposits of ichor dark colored slimes begin to form as well. The Imperial Inquisition starts to send out its exorcists near the start of Ash to travel the roads of every region, each group consisting of at least one Exorcist and two or more Prior or Acolytes. Requests for aid can also be sent through one of the Imperial Churches found in most towns and cities in every dutchy.
Despite all of the gloom that Ash 123 brings with it, there is one point of excitement. The Legion Games officially started on the 1st of Ash, 123. The 32 teams began their first rounds after a large opening ceremony that was broadcasted across the Hub system. With the perpetual winter season the Generals this year have developed both their squads and tactics around winter combat and the difficult snowy terrain especially in the arenas in the Tranal dutchy. Excitement over the Games is as high as it every was, perhaps more so given the situation across the rest of the Imperium.

Clearing the Undead
► Show Spoiler
The Inquisition has put out a bounty for aid in dealing with the undead issues across the Imperium. A reward is provided to those who perform one of of the following tasks:
Zombie Hunting
For every Zombie that is slain, and proof provided, the Inquisition will pay 20cp. Higher award may be available for stronger undead.
Bounty: 20cp for every zombie slain.
Requirements: Apprentice to Journeyman level Combat Skill
Threat: Low to Medium
Disperse the Shades
Shades are fragments or echo's of the past that typically appear in areas that violent deaths have occurred. The non-sentient the shades move through the last moments of their life in an endless cycle, and while they do not pose a direct threat to the living it can be distressing to see especially if a death was violent. Those who live in areas that shades appear also have troubles with insomnia and reoccurring nightmares.
The Inquisition provides simple talismans for purchase for 1 cp. These talismans once placed in an area disperses shades and prevents them from reappearing for 3 weeks. These talismans can also be created by necromancers with journeyman skills in the way of souls and an apprentice level of screening.
Bounty: 5cp for every response to a shade request. These requests can be picked up in local Imperial Churches.
Requirements: None
Threat: None
Cleanse the Unholy Regions
During Ash Miasma and Ichor begins to become more prevalent across the Imperium, especially in Gelerand. When large deposits of either develop the number and strength of the undead begin to increase until eventually reaching a threshold causing a tide of undead to stumble into nearby towns or villages. Exorcists primary responsibility is to cleanse these areas of their taint, but there are only so many exorcists. The Inquisition has put out a call to any skilled necromancers to provide their assistance in this endeavor.
Bounty: 2sp for every area cleansed
Requirements: Expert Necromancy specializing in the Way of Souls (Message Mirage if interested); At least Expert Combat, or a team of 6 or more with average combat rank of Journeyman.
Threat level: High (These areas are filled with undead of varying strength. Caution is advised. )
Find the Tar Slimes
Tar Slimes are a special form of slime which only appear in areas with large amounts of ichor and undead. They are not technically undead themselves, but they have an almost symbiotic relationship with them. They feed on the energies of the living, and as they consume areas of vibrant life they create more tainted zones where Undead can appear. They tend to be large in size, and can only be eradicated using specialized tools and techniques of Exorcists. As they feed on the living they are highly dangerous to any living creature that comes near, consuming their life force and turning their corpse into an undead shortly after. Zombies and other types of undead also tend to flock around them and follow in their wake.
The bounty is not for killing one of these slimes, but rather to locate them. They are typically slow moving, and quite rare. The Inquisition has put a bounty out for anyone who can locate one of these creatures before they spread their influence to too large of an area.
Bounty: 1sp for every one found
Requirement: Journeyman level combat or escape skill (Whenever a Tar Slime is around there are large amounts of undead)
Threat level: Medium - High (Potential Deadly Threat depending on the situation)
Note: There may be a limit enforced on the number of Tar Slimes available to find depending on how many take this bounty. This bounty will be updated if that becomes the case.
Bounty Type: Reoccurring until the end of Ash 123 AS

1st of Frost - Imperial Engineers, with assistance from GIM Co, begin upgrading existing lamp posts throughout the city with either Dawnstone.
5th of Frost (Bounty) - An official Mandate from the Emperor is issued. Those who find or harvest Dawnstone or Moonstone can turn them in at the Imperial State Building, 2nd floor. For both Dawnstone and Moonstone 25gp for lesser, 75gp for minor, 150gp for average and 1000 gp for greater. Shards with higher potency will be negotiated
11th of Frost (Prompt) - Due to an increase in security measures across Southside, many of the creatures which crawl from the gash and appear from the shadows have been pressed farther and farther north. This has lead to a reoccurring nightly slaughter of the average citizens. Thus far the Kathar Legion has been ineffective, spread too thin to protect everyone. In their place the O'Grim family has taken up arms against the creatures, supplying protection to much of Northside. The family has formed patrol parties that hunt the creatures at night and are accepting volunteers to join their patrols.
22nd of Frost - Godric Mining Company holds a hiring event in Imperial Towers Hotel in Wintergarten Circle. Miners are in high demand with a minimum wage of 11 gp/day. Those who accept the recruitment will be provided free food and housing at the mining sight north of the Veris River
31st of Frost (Prompt) - A breach in the defenses of the Gash occurs in the evening, releasing a flood of unholy creatures into the Northside. The Imperial Knights, Golden Lion chapter rushes in to subdue the invasion in an attempt to save as many lives as possible.
55th of Frost - All lamp posts along major streets and highways in Gel'Grandal now possess dawn stone. Southside has the highest density of lampposts, with their being noticeably fewer overall in northside
60th of Frost (Bounty) - the major issues brought on by the eclipse has been neutralized, however, the creatures of shadow cannot be completely held back with the measures provided by the Imperium. The Primarchs of the Imperial Knights have all issued an ongoing bounty for creatures that still lurk in the city's darkest corners. 100 gp for every proven kill of a creature, and an additional 500gp if any information about the things and their nature is brought to them. Live specimens are awarded between 100 and 1000gp depending on the creature in question.

March of the O'Grim
► Show Spoiler
"Once again the Southsiders have shown how little they give a shit about the Northsiders. All these Imperial Knights and Kathar flock to defend the rich and well off, and leave trash like us to the wayside. Well fuck 'em. The O'Grim Family will do their job for them. Join us to protect your family, your homes, your children. March with us tonight. "
--Gresh Skull Crusher
Prompt Type: Self Start Solo
Notes: You can join the patrol by approaching any of the O'Grim members as they patrol Northside. The O'Grim consist primarily of Ogres and Hobgoblins, but there are some humans and a few other races as well. If you need assistance contact Mirage for more information.
Flooding the Northside
► Show Spoiler
The evening of the 31st one of the major pillars that form the barrier around the Gash falls, creating a breach which allows a flood of monstrosities into the Northside. The Golden Lion chapter, lead by Primarch Reiner himself, rush to the defense of the people. The Kathar Knights are released in full as well, lending their aid to the forces as they try to subdue the tides.
Prompt Type: Self Start Solo or Mod Prompt
Notes: You can choose to either join this prompt on your own, or a Mod can provide an initial prompt to get you started. If you have any questions contact Mirage for needed details.

The situation within Gel'Grandal has all but stabilized by the 60th of Frost, but the creatures summoned by the Eclipse are still a threat to the citizens. Due to this the Primarchs of the Imperial Knights have issued a standing bounty to the warriors within the city to slay any creatures they are unable to or not present to do so.
