Appearance
Norani stands on the average end of height for Ecithian Ork women, strong in body as all Ecithians are. Her skin is a mix of the color of "moss on the loamy eastern side of lake Nora" and is her namesake. She wears the hides and fur of the animals native to Ecith, and has begun her Vo'uveh.
On her back, are two Runes of Magic; Animus and Summoning. The Rune of Summoning is in the center, a great tree that grows from lower back, branching out across her shoulder blades. Each of her bonded summons appears in the branches in some fashion. Her animus rune fills in the space around the trunk of the tree, the creatures she's bonded with roaming about the grassy plain. On her front, her Rune of Elementalism is a swirling of the four elements, splashing across her chest, and plunging down between her breasts, disappearing around her waistline. Over her heart, she has a vibrant and moving tattoo of a lotus in fiery colors, given to her by a Seer as a bond with her best friend, Yeva Bleu. Finally she has the beginning of swirls of Ecithian tattoo script spiraling down her left arm, her Ecithian Citizenship markings.
Personality
Norani is young, bold, and adventurous. She's very outspoken and curious, and cannot by any means sit still. She's deeply passionate in all aspects of her life, and headstrong in her youthful beliefs. She enjoys pushing herself, and others, to be her best self and find all of the enjoyment in life.
However, after she discovered her family's deception in Searing, 122, Norani has become a lot more withdrawn, prone to emotional extremes and outbursts. She struggles to connect socially, is distrusting both of herself and others.
History
Norani was raised in the village of Ounokt Nora on Lake Nora in the southern edges of North Ecith. Her village is roughly two-hundred strong, and all of them helped to raise her, as they do for all of their children. She was taught the history of both her village and of Ecith, was taught the religions of the land and she, like most from her village, follows the Old Ways, honoring the Land, Sky, and Seas. She acknowledges the presence of the Dragon Era as well as the Triumvirate in her beliefs as well, but they do not take precedence over the Old Ways.
She lived a happy and healthy childhood, playing games that would teach her important skills for survival, allowed to explore in the creation of art, and otherwise allowed to be a child. Upon coming of age, she has joined the Ecithian Shield, joining the tribal battalions that fight against the Primals that walk over Ecith.
Post Creation History
Glade, 122
Norani was newly joined into the military. She learned how to fly upon the back of her Ci'uvan companion, Ruvaf. She traveled with her military contingent to the capital of Drathera where she met Yeva Bleu. This kicked off a quick and easy friendship, leading to Yeva traveling back to Norani's home village with the contingent.
Searing, 122
Searing started as a comfortable season for Norani. She spent her days training with military compatriots and spending time with Yeva. However, during an initiation into Summoning, Norani learned that she used to have a childhood best friend named Juno. However, Juno had been taken by the Unknown and Norani had no memories of her. With the discovery of this information, Norani realized her family would have known of Juno, and had been keeping her existence hidden from her. This led to conflict, breaking Norani's heart and leading to her isolating heavily and feeling as though she had no family any longer. Yeva provided comfort and friendship during this terribly difficult time.
Ash 122
Norani and Yeva left Ecith to join the Expedition aboard the Duck. The journey itself was strange for Norani, meeting so many new people while still dealing with the harsh emotional turmoil she was in. Upon arriving at the expedition location, Norani and Yeva built a shared hut and began trying to adapt to their new world.
However, on Ash 65, Yeva disappeared from Norani's world, as did the sun behind the eclipse. This left Norani entirely distraught, another major part of her world taken from her, shattering an already fragile heart. There was no trail to find, no clues to where Yeva had gone. She was simply vanished. All that was left were the nightmares that visited Norani every night as she slept.
Frost 122
After nearly an entire season of scouring the jungle, trying to find any clue as to Yeva's disappearance, Norani noticed the Tree of the East. She flew to it with Ruvaf, and has now undertaken a great quest to free Ghoron, the Last Titan, the elements that are trapped with him, and the missing seasons. She does this to bring balance back to the elements and the world and hopes it will aid her in finding where Yeva has disappeared to.

Apprentice Quirk - Balance In All Things-
Norani has the intuitive ability to sense when and where the primary elements are out of alignment. When this occurs, Norani gains the power to naturally attune herself to the element most necessary to bring the wild forces around her back into alignment. At the apprentice level, this simply means that she is able to coax more of the naturally existing element into working more cooperatively with her. Upon gaining the power of the Arche Element however, she possesses the unique ability to step into companionship with the primary element most needed to bring the forces around her back into their proper balance. In the case of a raging inferno that is wildly out of control, where Fire swells and burns without form or purposes, Norani will find that Water steps up to assist her in bringing things into balance. Where winds howl and scream out in disharmony, Earth will offer her its stalwart presence in order to calm them.
Norani becomes a living conduit for the Elements, being able to sense what it is that they need most in order to bring them back into balance.

Journeyman - Animus Attunement - If Norani takes on an Animus Form that has an elemental alignment attached to it (such as those found in South Ecith), she will gain a temporary Arche of that element, in addition to her normal Arche. When she leaves this form, that Arche disappears.

Expert - Elemental Enhancement - Blending with her Summoning Rune, Elemental Enhancement kicks into affect when Norani is attempting to summon an Elemental Spirit. By spending a larger chunk of aether, she can enhance the spirit she is summoning. This enhancement allows for the elemental spirit in question to be “leveled up” from the Tier that it is (Such as phycaal being tier 7) to the tier that matches Norani’s Elementalism competency (Master Tier 6, Grandmaster Tier 5). This is a temporary effect while the spirit is with Norani, and it reverts to its normal state when returned or when Norani dismisses the ability.

Master 1 - Empathic Guarding - Norani's Empathically Bonded partners will find naturally existing Elemental Spirits regularly coming to their aid and even protecting them from danger when able, even if the Empathically Bonded partner is not with Norani.

Master 2 - Arche Catabolism - Norani is able to apply her Arche element to whatever Animus form she's in through the Animus ability Catabolism. Once this has been applied, it is a passive effect that will remain with that form from that point onward, regardless of if she's actively using it. She can dismiss this effect at any time.

Secret Quirk - Elemental Echo - Norani can both communicate with and share the senses of Elemental Spirits that she meets, this is a passive effect for Norani. This also alters her Animus ability of Echolalia and her Elementalism ability of Enmesh. When either of these abilities are applied to an object or another being, it grants the same communication and sharing of the senses with nearby Elemental Spirits that Norani has acquired. This ability only applies to spirits of the Elements that Norani has access, as she unlocks more Elements, this Quirk upgrades accordingly.

Secret Quirk - Stormborn - Norani has now gained Lightning as her default Arche element. No longer does she need to Blend together the elements to conjure lightning, it simply comes to her naturally. Additionally, unless she make the conscious choice to make them different, every lodestone that Norani creates is a lytirisyte (stormgem) dragonshard by default. Finally, Norani now possesses the inherent ability to levitate as though on the winds of a storm.

Secret Quirk - True Synergy (Passive) - Having brought balance to the elements within herself in the presence of the World Tree, Norani’s harmony is reflected in the world around her. When she is in harmony, the world around her strives to bring itself into balance to match her. The elements sing when she sings, feel joy when she is joyful, feel rage when she is enraged, feel sadness when she is sad. How this is expressed is dependent upon Norani’s mood but the world will always reflect her mood up to a distance of 10 square miles (16 sq km).

Secret Quirk - Diamondback - Norani’s bones are now reinforced with diamond-like strength. They retain their natural flexibility as with all living tissue but have the sturdiness of diamonds. This attribute translates to her scales as well whenever they manifest. This quality has resulted in a gem-like sparkle to Norani’s eyes as the earth has smiled upon her for her insights.

Apprentice - Empathic Bond - Norani is able to meditate and through the careful application of her knowledge of both the animals she studies and the utilization of her Animus rune, she forms an empathic bond with said animal. By means of this bond, she is able to establish a magical link with these animals and as a result incorporate their shape into the tapestry of her Animus rune as a living, breathing totem. The Empathic Bond, once made, becomes a passive thing through which she gains a general awareness of the animal's emotional state and likewise, the animal is able to gauge her emotional state as well. In the event that the animal is killed, the Empathic Bond is broken and her access to that specific animal's shape is lost. To regain the use of that shape, she will be forced to establish another Empathic Bond with another animal of its type. Additionally, Norani is able to Dissociate from the Empathic Bond as with any other totem.

Journeyman - Anima Ferus - Through Norani's Rune of Summoning and her Empathic Bonding, Norani has unlocked the Wild Spirits Sphere of Summoning as an Animus Family. The caveat to this is that she can only take these forms through her Empathic Bond and not through traditional totemic means.

Expert - Animus Attunement - Norani can attune through meditation, a long and slow process, with a totem she has or a Bonded member of her Animus rune. In doing so, she unlocks the ability to adopt the form of all members of the same Genus as that totem. However, as this new form is neither bonded nor attached to a physical totem, she is unable to use it for any of her abilities or quirks that require Bonding.

Master 1 - Spirit Guardians - Through the mingling of Norani's Rune of Animus and Rune of Summoning, her Empathically Bonded partners are always present with her, even when they are not. All of her Empathically Bonded partners are present with her in a spirit form, even while their physical self is elsewhere. If Norani is currently in the form of one of these Empathically Bonded partners, then its spirit is not with her, but rather is existing where the Empathically Bonded partner came from. When she shifts out of that form, the spirit and the living form swap back.

Master 2 - Spiritual Healing - Norani has discovered how to keep the injuries she acquires isolated to an Empathically Bonded form that acquired them. Any Empathically Bonded form that is injured can have its Spirit Guardian sent to the Wild Spirits Sphere to heal, taking its injuries with it. Norani is able to recall the Spirit Guardian at any time, regardless of the state of healing it is in. While in the Wild Spirits Sphere, it will heal that form faster than typical biological healing, and can heal wounds that typical biological healing cannot do without the aid of medicine or magical means.

Summoning
Rune On her back, are two Runes of Magic; Animus and Summoning. The Rune of Summoning is in the center, a great tree that grows from lower back, branching out across her shoulder blades. Each of her bonded summons appears in the branches in some fashion.

Apprentice - Empathic Summoning - Norani has found that she is able to summon the living beings and spirits that she has formed an Empathic Bond with through her Rune of Animus. She can apply, or not, the facets of Summoning to these Empathically Bonded partners of hers.
