Appearance
Garr is not exactly an attractive person. He is about average. He stands at 5'10" and is slightly overweight at 215 pounds. He has reddish hair and green eyes. If one spots him around his family, he usually has a scowl on his face, as if he's thinking about something negative or is wishing he were somewhere else. He wears clothes befitting of his nobility and is rarely spotted carrying a weapon. He seems to always have some sand in his clothes or on his hair, or clinging to his skin.
Personality
Garr has a tough outward appearance but that's mostly a shell that protects his inner self. Garr feels inadequate. He has convinced himself that he will never live up to fill the shoes he was meant to fill, and he has siblings that are far more qualified than himself. He takes out his anger on others, being quick to snap if he's in a bad mood. One of his best methods of dealing with his feelings is to take them out on slaves. He is a slaver by profession as it is his family's business. He enjoys being cruel to slaves and capturing the innocent makes him feel better about his own circumstances. He rarely finds love and typically satiates his desires on those who can't refuse him. He feels as though he's too ugly to ever truly be loved and he has never met a noblewoman who's ever taken an interest in him.

History
Garr grew up not really being good at anything. He was put in all the lessons, given tutors, and basically every chance that a noble's son ought to have. See, Garr is a noble by birth and his grandfather sits in the senate. Garr's inability to perform set him apart from his peers and he was a loner from the young age of seven. Since he never showed much promise, the only real thing he could do to be useful to his family was to help with the business. He learned the inner workings of the slave trade and while he never showed much skill as a businessman, he certainly performed adequately as a slaver.
When Garr reached his mid-teens he was given the ability to use magic. Elementalism, to be specific. His family arranged for him to be marked and trained in this magic because it would undoubtable help him as he travelled for work. And indeed it did. Being able to manipulate the elements made surviving the desert much more manageable. He didn't have much say in the matter. His father told him he will be initiated for the good of the business. Garr trained in magical studies at Academia Arcanum at the Luxium campus. Once he got good enough at Elementalism, his father demanded that he got initiated into Traversion as well. Garr accepted, thinking his family's opinion of him was becoming more favorable... but really he is viewed as a workhorse.
In present day, Garr is simply a noble trying to make his mark. He has aspirations of mastering his magical ability and being able to earn national recognition for his power and success in the slave trade. Living in a mansion surrounded by slaves and adorers would be a dream come true.
